Jinx Jinx

Poor Captain...


I drive by this on the way to work almost every day. Obviously the Captain is much more attractive than this ^_~ Besides the fact that it doesn't do him justice in that department, fans are going crazy because of the Stanley Cup in the background. I hope this isn't a jinx, but if my dearest Chris Rongey has taught me anything, it's not to believe in jinxes.

I admittedly am pretty superstitious, like I have weird rituals I do before games like the players would, but i'm not sure I believe that whoever decided to make this mural (and no, it was not me even though those of you who know me wouldn't put it past me...) can be to blame for the hawks skid lately. Tazer was even asked about this thing on Sportsnite the other night and he pretty much said that to him, it doesn't even exist. The only Jinx I believe in is this one.
Anyway, I had to at least have a little blurb about this one on our home page here. And I finally hinted that i'm a girl. I was gonna try as long as I could to not, but when it has to do with the Captain, well, I have to put my 20 cents in...especially before Kaner beats me up for it. I imagine when more people read this blog and find out that i'm a girl it will be like at the end of the very first Metroid when you find out Samus is a girl. Classic.
This was one of my more silly posts, I apologize. But it's been a rough sports life right now and I had to be a little silly. ^_^
